The City of Bethlehem Police Department will be hosting a combined course to certify Public Safety cyclists for both police and EMS. The course is through the International Police Mountain Bike Association (IPMBA) and will be taught by certified instructors from the Bethlehem Police Department.
The course will be held starting Monday June 10th and continue through Friday June 14th. The course hours are Monday – Wednesday 8-4, Thursday 2-10, Friday 8-4. The cost of the course is $200 per student. Payment can be made at the time of the class. Checks may be made payable to “Bethlehem Police Wish Fund – Bike Unit”. The course will be held at the Bethlehem Police Wells Fargo Training Center located at 52 W. Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018.
This course is open to both Police and Emergency Medical Services personnel. After the successful completion of the course, students will be certified as IPMBA Police Cyclists or EMS Cyclists, depending on their respective professions.
