Due to the projected magnitude
of Hurricane Sandy, the Lehigh Valley
County Animal Response Team (LVCART)
will be opening an emergency animal
shelter at 12:00 PM on Monday, October
29, 2012. The shelter will be
located at 2120 Avenue A, Bethlehem 18017 and
is within close proximity
to the Red Cross shelter. This is a regional
shelter for both Lehigh and
Northampton Counties.

Residents who must
evacuate their homes and have no place to take their
pets may shelter them at
this location. Please provide enough food for a
week, medications with
directions, and vaccination records if available.
Additional supplies such as
treats, blankets, toys, etc. will be
comforting to your pet and help to make
them feel safe.
