Bethlehem Police Swear in Two

BETHLEHEM, PENNSYLVANIA

On October 8, 2013 the City of Bethlehem Police Department proudly swore in two officers.

Officer Joshua Rymon, a native of Washington, NJ comes to the City of Bethlehem Police Department after serving four years with the Washington DC Metropolitan Police Department.  Officer Rymon is a certified International Police Mountain Bike Instructor as well as a Crisis Intervention officer.  Officer Rymon graduated from Gettysburg College with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Comparative Criminal Justice.  Officer Rymon, badge 412, is assigned to the Department’s 1st Platoon.

Officer Glenn Woolard, a native of Coatsville PA comes to the City of Bethlehem Police Department following service with the United States Army 1st Batallion/75th Ranger Regiment.  During his service in the United States Army, Woolard deployed three times during Operation Enduring Freedom/Afghanistan.  Besides his military service, Woolard is an accomplished baseball player, having been drafted in the 10th round of the Major League Baseball Entry Draft.  Officer Woolard, badge 413, is assigned to the Department’s 3rd Platoon.
