The Police Department was recently assessed to ensure their policies and procedures met the State and National standards associated with Law Enforcement operations.  The accreditation efforts were spearheaded by Lt. William Dosedlo but could not have been possible without the assistance and efforts of all members of the Department, both sworn and un-sworn.

This is the City of Bethlehem Police Department’s third State Accreditation.  The Police Department is one of only ninety three police agencies that hold PLEAC certification and the largest municipal police agency in the state that holds both state (PLEAC) and national (CALEA) accreditation.
