On Friday May 3rd Angelo Lopez turned himself in to Bethlehem Police on the warrant charging him for his involvement with the shooting on April 22, 2013. He was arraigned and committed to Northampton County Prison on $500,000. Dan David Hernandez remains at large. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania – On April 22, 2013 at 5:34pm, the City of Bethlehem Police Department responded to the area of the 1400 block of Marvine St on a report of a shooting incident that had occured. On arrival officers located a male, 34 years old who had suffered multiple gun shot wounds. The male was transported to St Luke’s University Hospital where he was treated for his wounds. He is listed in critical condition.
During the course of the investigation, officers received information regarding the potential location of one of the subjects. Information received was that one of the subjects had gone into a residence on Fritz Dr. The Police Department’s Emergency Response Team was activated and ended up making entry into the residence in question. The residence in question was vacant.
Through the course of the investigation the two males depicted below were identified as the suspects invloved in the shooting. Angelo Lopez 38 year old male, approximately 5’8″ tall and weighs approximately 260 lbs. Dan David Hernandez 28 year old male, approximately 5’8″ tall and weighs approximately 160 lbs.
Arrest warrants were obtained from Magesterial District Judge Romig-Passaro’s office charging Lopez and Hernandez with the following offenses:
1. PACC 2501 Attempted Criminal Homicide
2. PACC 2501 Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Attempted Homicide
3. PACC 2702(a)(1) Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Assault
4. PACC 2702 (a)(4) Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon
5. PACC 2705 Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Reckless Endangerment
6. PACC 6106(a)(1) Firearms to be Carried without a License
7. PACC 907 Possession of instruments of a Crime
THESE INDIVIDUALS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROUS.
