At 1735 Hrs, Bethlehem Police responded to the Marvine-Pembroke area on report of a male who had been shot. Officers arrived to find a male who was the victim of more than one gunshot wound. The male has been transported to St. Luke’s University Hospital where he is undergoing treatment for his wounds. No further information is available about his identity or the extent of his injuries at this time.
At this time, the Bethlehem Police Department is conducting a tactical operation with our Emergency Response Team in the immediate vicinity to the shooting. This operation is related to the shooting incident. Area residents have been asked to shelter in place or are being evacuated.
