Public Safety Information

With the tragic events in Boston firmly ingrained in our conscience, we take this time to pay our respects to those who lost their lives and hope for a fast recovery for those who were injured. We also want to show our gratitude to those first responders who were first on scene and are now investigating such a horrible incident.

Since the incident, many have called us and inquired as to what they should do if they see a suspicious person or a suspicious package. In the case of either, notify local law enforcement as quickly as possible and move away from the item. For City of Bethlehem residents call 610-865-7187 for non-emergencies or 911 for emergencies. We, as first responders often times depend on the citizen to be a good witness for us. That being said, we want you to be safe! Do not approach the individual or package. Rather distance yourself from it. Below are links to further information from the Department of Homeland Security.
