Alarm registrations (both residential and commercial) are due for renewal by 12/31/12.
Registration renewal forms are available here. If you have any questions related to alarms, you may call Officer DeFrank at 610-865-7181.
There is no fee to renew the registration, but those not renewed by 01/31/13 are subject to a $25.00 penalty.
This letter is being sent to all Bethlehem alarm registrants:
Pursuant City Ordinance 735.11, a registration form must be submitted no later than December 31st of each year so that the alarm registration may be continued for the following year. There is no fee to renew an alarm registration. Alarm registrations that are not renewed by January 31st are subject to a late fee of $25.00. Failure to register your residential or commercial alarm may result in the suspension of emergency response to an alarm activation, absent a separate indication that there is a crime in progress or that an emergency exists.
It is important that alarm registration information is kept up to date so that we can contact a responsible person in the event that your alarm is activated. Our police department is striving to maintain a high level of customer service, so it is important that alarm registrants provide accurate information so that we can continue to provide the best possible service to our citizens.
Please complete the accompanying Alarm Registration Form and be sure to include all contact information. Forms can be mailed to the address listed on the bottom of the form, or may be hand delivered at City Hall. If you have any questions, please contact our Crime Prevention Officer at 610.865.7181 or at TDeFrank@bethlehem-pa.gov.
