Arrest: Linden Street Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested in Allentown

Bethlehem, PA

The Bethlehem Police Department has a male in custody for the commission of the robbery at the Express Gas and Food Market, 1353 Linden Street on Sunday 05 August at 1:53 PM.  Bethlehem Police obtained a warrant for ANDREW  BILHEIMER, DOB 4/7/1988, of 3283 Beaufort Drive, Bethlehem, PA.

The tips started coming in to the Bethlehem Police Department early this morning,  identifying the Linden Street robbery suspect as Bilheimer.  Throughout the morning, the Bethlehem Police Department worked closely with the Allentown Police Department searching for Bilheimer and his green Volvo.  At around 3:30 this afternoon, Bilheimer was taken into custody by the Allentown Police Department in the Redner’s Market parking lot on Airport Rd. in Allentown.  Police also have impounded the 1991 green Volvo that was used during the commission fo the robbery.

Detective Sergeant Van Scott of the Bethlehem Police had earlier secured an arrest warrant for Bilheimer charging him with Robbery, Theft, Receiving Stolen Property and Recklessly Endangering Another Person.

We would like to thank everyone who helped spread the news, images and video of this offense and who aided in identifying the suspect.  We would also like to thank the Allentown Police Department for their assistance in clearing this case so quickly.
