On 17 October, we posted this information attempting to identify the suspect in a robbery at Sands Casino.
On 17 October 2011, an elderly female was in the parking deck of Sands Casino. As she walked to her car, a male pushed her from behind. The victim fell to the ground and a black male with long dreadlocks attempted to steal her purse. The victim hurt her leg when pushed to the ground.
Video surveillance and information supplied by Pennsylvania State Police Gaming Unit and Sands Casino Security enabled Bethlehem Police Detectives to capture an image of the male. The digital photo was released to the local media during the investigation and information was received about the male. Through investigation, the male was identified as NEVILLON YONNICK FUNG, age 21, of 1871 Mark Twain Circle, Bethlehem, Pa. 18017.
On 26 January 2012, City of Bethlehem Police Detectivesarrested NEVILLON FUNG and charged him with:
- Criminal Attempt to Commit Robbery
FUNG was arraigned before Northampton County Judge Patricia Romig. Bail was set at $15,000.00 and FUNG was committed to Northampton County Prison pending Court action.
