At 1:53 p.m. on 5 August 2012, a man robbed the Express Gas and Food Mart in the 2300 block of Linden St.

He parked his late model Volvo sedan on Jennings St. behind the business. Upon entering the store he was concealing his face by holding a purple in color piece of cloth over it. He held a pistol with his right hand and demanded money from the clerk as he pointed the pistol at him.

The thief was weraing a dark colored T-shirt and shorts, and he was wearing dark colored ”flip-flops”. His shorts appeared to have a white in color emblem toward the bottom of the shorts on his left side (see photos).

After putting the money in his right pocket he returned to his car and left the area heading south on Jennings St.
